SYNOPSIS
The documentary film “The Last Take” by Jesús Ponce reconstructs the forgotten figure of the ill-fated filmmaker Claudio Guerín Hill, who died during the shooting of “La campana del infierno” (1973) after falling from the top of the Church of San Martiño while filming one of his last sequences. Lucía Bosé, Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, and Juan Diego are among the testimonies that help reclaim the legacy of one of the great promises of Spanish cinema in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
